Bonsai at Kew Gardens
Most of the Bonsai in Kew's collection were donated by the late Ruth Stafford-Jones, a founder member of Bonsai Kai, in 2001. Although Kew has a growing collection of bonsai, only 10 trees looking their seasonal best are displaying at any one time.

Probably the biggest bonsai nursery in Kent, with close links to the M25, M2, M20, A20 and A2 road networks.

WindyBank Bonsai
Located in Carshalton in Surrey, just a twenty-minute drive from junction 8 on the M25. In addition to bonsai trees, the nursery stocks a large selection of pots, tools, soil, wire and many other bonsai care products. Only open weekends and bank holidays.

Herons Bonsai
Founded by Dawn and Peter Chan in 1986, this is one of Britain's largest bonsai nurseries. Located in Newchapel in Surrey, it offers a range and selection of trees. Peter Chan is author of a number of books on bonsai; holds a record tally of 21 Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medals; and sponsors the Royal Horticultural Society’s bonsai collection at Wisley.
